My son's are Mark and Michael. Beside the true meaning of these names (mighty warrior and God's arc angel) I pictured them sitting behind a desk. Who wants to have a CEO named Ayden or Mekhia? Mark and Michael show dignity and command respect. That is what my children deserve.

How wonderful for them! Hope it works out. I was married once, for 8 long years. That was 33 years ago. Haven't met anyone worthy of my affection then or now. But anything worth having is worth waiting for. So, God bless this new couple!

Doesn't anyone remember that after WWII some Japanese official, a general or something, said that they would eventually win the war with the United States without firing a single shot? I wasn't born then but recall hearing this from either a veteran or maybe in history class in high school.
Has the recession caused you to change your Thanksgiving plans this year?

I agree with kll (I hope the kll are initials), I can't afford to travel. I would have loved to have Thanksgiving at my house but my children don't like me very much right now. But, I'm grateful every day of my life for all the blessings that I do have.
Was David Letterman wise to confess his affairs on his show?

Congratulations to David Letterman! A fool fools around but a man comes clean about it. Protecting the others involved is a valiant act. My sympathy and admiration to his wife. She knew, I'm sure. I'm not condoning but certainly won't condemn.
